The Main Lodge
Situated right on Blue Mountain Lake, The Main Lodge was the original lodge built by General Duryea in 1880, and it remains the historic heart of the property. It offers four lodge rooms, including the Colonel's Room, which was the General's own residence at the camp and still carries that sense of history. The Main Lodge rooms are reserved for adults only, making it a quiet lakeside retreat.
Downstairs, guests can relax in a common sitting room warmed by a gas fireplace, browse the shelves of our cozy library, or spend an evening playing cards or working on a puzzle in the former formal dining room area, once the gathering place for camp meals. The full wrap-around porch offers plenty of spots to settle in with a good book and a cup of tea while looking out at the lake. With its worn wood floors, period furnishings, and unmistakable sense of place, the Main Lodge offers a stay that feels like stepping straight into the camp's early Adirondack days.
The Main Lodge is also home to our boat dock offering canoes, kayaks and paddle boards for guest use throughout your stay. Please visit our activities page to learn more.
