The Stone Lodge
The Stone Lodge was added to the Duryea Camp around 1900, expanding the upstate New York property with a second historic building full of the same rustic Adirondack character as the Main Lodge. There are six lodge rooms upstairs and a two-bedroom suite downstairs, along with a shared common area centered around a warm fireplace.
The six upstairs rooms are adults only, offering a quiet, private retreat for couples or friends traveling together. Bedding varies from room to room, with several offering lake views and one featuring flexible twin or king configurations, so there's a good match for most preferences. Downstairs, the two-bedroom suite is a wonderful option for families, complete with its own fireplace and sitting room, giving parents and kids a warm, comfortable base just steps from the water, boat dock and dining room.
Whether you're relaxing by the shared fireplace in the common area, settling into a lake-view room upstairs, enjoying views from the porch or spreading out in the family suite below, The Stone Lodge offers a stay rooted in over a century of history.
